Cheap mobile replacement suggestions

My dad's phone has just packed it in, was my hand down old S7 Edge, the screen is completely unresponsive even with a factory reset. It's only needed for work use, and i'd imagine even the naffest £50-60 range phones are likely as powerful as that was being 7 years old. Most important aspect is battery life.

Any recommendations on what to replace it with?
