I need to move the gas meter Has anyone done this ? If yes appreciate some advice.
my husband did look into getting a gas meter moved but we never went ahead with it. you need to contact your gas supplier and they will give you a quote to move the meter.
we were given a quote of nearly £2,000 if i remember correctly, so it tends to be very expensive to do.
Contact the local gas distributor for the area, not BG or EDF etc, but the people who run the network. They’ll tell you if it ever had a supply and when it was disconnected.
Not sure why you need to know to be honest, I am curious though.
