Moving companies

Does anyone have any recommendations for moving companies?

Ideally I would be looking for collection, storage and delivery for a studio in the Southampton area.

Many Thanks

Steve

anyone used anyvan.com before? they are like a comparison site for removals. their quotes seem competitive but i have never actually used them before.

Yes twice. The first few quotes that you get are v v expensive, better quotes come through a few hours / days later.

You'd be better off looking for a local Facebook group of where you live and asking on there for recommendations or get someone who is on Facebook to do it if your not.

If it's only a studio, why not rent a box van for about £80 per day? Or man & van for about £20 per hour? Depending on where you are moving to, it might be worth checking with Parking Services and see if you can get a temporary parking permit for the van. (edited)

🙈 I missed a detail I don't drive. Thank you for the response. Do you have a link for man & van as there's so many options

Storage is ridiculously expensive in most areas. You might be better to get rid of or sell some stuff as after the promotion period, prices are high. Especially as you don't drive and will need to hire another man with a van to pick it up from storage.
