HELP Best cheap TV for elderly parent

Hi can someone please help me - I’m looking for a cheap TV with free view andAlexa built in for my mum who is 75 years old for under £350. Argos have quite a few but I am not very tech minded and unsure which is the best on offer - even more lost know that Argos no longer do a product comparison - some makes I haven’t heard of either…. I am thinking of one of these 3,

but there are others on the site that fall into what she wants. Sorry to mother this close to Christmas too

Out of the 3 I would go Hisense, have a 65" version for 3 years and not missed a beat, Toshiba aren't the brand they used to be!

How about the TCL 55" currently on offer, 10 percent off.

Hisense easily the best here, it will be more usable and more reliable - Toshiba are unfortunately made in the same factory as the Bush / Hitachi sets in Turkey by a company called Vestel and are usually a simple re-badge with a new brand for Argos.

    Hisense over Toshiba every time

Easy decision - Hisense I've got 2 Hisense one as main TV and the 279 one in my bedroom both brilliant TVs for the money

one thing to consider is where the tv will sit. the toshiba at the bottom has the stand in the middle so you go on a smaller unit and the sides stick out if the unit is small, whilst the other 2 have the stand towards the end so will need to sit on a unit that's wide enough

the other things to consider is if she has an ariel or sat cable/input and if the tv supports the sat input, they all should do freeview, and what smart apps it has, but a cheap firestick is a good alternative which i'd use over inbuilt apps or worrying about what the inbuilt apps do. so you could get the hisense and a firestick in the amazon sale for the same or less than the toshibas

You can buy a Vesa Stand from Amazon for around £20 to make the ones with the end stand into a central stand. (edited)
