I’m looking for an app for iPhone that can create groups for sending text messages. Currently using Connect App but that’s discontinued. Paid or Free welcome. Thanks
yeah, best is to use whatsapp. i guess the OP may have people in the group that doesn't have whatsapp, whereas everyone will have SMS as default on their phone.

On Android, Google's standard Messages app supports creating groups, as does Samsung's.
Telegram, since you are saying no to WhatsApp. Still needs to be installed, so might as well use WhatsApp.
