Cat repellant

Does anyone recommend any effective cat repellant please?

We are having to clean at least one car poo from our garden every morning!

We have tried some gel from Amazon which maybe stopped it for a few days but this was fluorescent green gel beads and disappeared once it rained.

Thank you

I have put small branches all over the soil, it's the only thing thats worked even though sometimes cats move them and I've got to replace branches and stick some upright too..

That’s a good idea for our bark area, thank you

make a shotgun, cock & bang noise, with your mouth or phone app .

it kept cats out of my garden for months, and when they came back, I did it again

Silent roar. It’s made from lion poo. Scares off deer too.

    Day time, a dog.
    Night time, anti personal mines

It's a lot of work, but it works

mix used coffee grounds mixed with cayenne pepper and sprinkle around toilet area and the pathways leading to an from. Cats just love grooming and cleaning themselves, and after toiliting when they come to groom they get this awful taste of pepper and coffee. doesn't thake them long to twig where they managed to pick up such vile stuff. We used that for the fox's sleeping place (hollowed out some ground beneath a tree). A cat came along and started pooing there and dug everything up into a mound- no foxes since!

It’s people like you, that means my cat now craps in my own garden!

Jks - scare type devices are the best, like the ones that spray water - they soon change behaviour

The water ones do seem the best but unfortunately we can’t put a hose pipe around that part of the house.

PIR-triggered mist-sprayers have been a frequent suggestion to similar ask threads.

This....I've used a heron scarer in the past. It detects movement and then sprays water. Cats don't like water and they soon find somewhere else to do their business!!

My neighbour swears by putting rubber snakes at strategic positions in the garden.

Me, I just throw stones at them.

Sneak up to it with a jug of cold water. They soon get the idea they're not wanted!

How about keeping empty crisp packets handy, then pop one loudly every time you see the cat around.
