Simply have the toilet in a remote area of your castle (as highlighted) - only downside is it can get really cold...
It's easier to waterproof the bedroom.

Someone had said on a previous thread that you used extra plaster board with an insulation layer on between, and it should work. They did it to drown out the noise from the neighbours TV in the living room, but I would think bathroom will be the same.
