Looking for a Laptop for partner 15"

There are always laptops on here, many out of our price range. So I'm looking to the techy guys on here. I know it's a big ask. I'm trying to find a 15" laptop with 16gb RAM for my partner. She is not fussed whether it's W10 or W11. I'm guessing that to get the most for her bucks (budget around £200-£250 ish) it will be a refurbished option. The only proviso she has aked me to mention is it comes with a warranty. Can you help please

    7th gen i3 doesn't even support win11. No more win10 updates after 14/10/25.

Thanks for the info. 15" is mainly needed as her eyesight isn't at it's best ;-)

15" with 16GB RAM. But I feel the 14" above better value. Ryzen 5 4500u is faster than i5-10210u according to cpu passmark.

Do CEX offer any warranty with their models?

It's important that you think about what it will realistically be used for.

If it's for surfing the web and basic photo editing etc it might be worth considering a chromebook.
It's all I've used for about 3 years and I couldn't be happier with it.

Obviously very small hard-drive (I use a separate SSD drive and the cloud) but you can do any office task that you need to and it has superb integration with android phones.

£250 would buy you a pretty good one. Mine was less than that and has a 14" touch screen.

    Seems like a fair trade.

Intrigued about the undefined absolute necessity for 16GB.

She has been saying that she's using 7.85GB out of 8gb RAM. I'm just trying to get her what she wants within the budget IYSWIM
