Help choosing TV

Hi guys, I’m trying to purchase the best tv I can within a budget of 200-400. I guess the best bang for buck at the lowest possible cost.

I’m trying to help a young family with children with some financial difficulties and am going to get them a tv.

However I’m clueless about current models and specs across brands.

Any ideas or advice?

The 43” LG from very at £256 seems promising? Or the Hisense 55” at £314.90?

Edit- seems VERY have some very good deals going right now with the 20% back
Ontop of the ‘sale prices’.

I personally only have Samsung tvs in my house, But choosing I’d say LG, I always stick to brands, services warranty will also be better on branded tvs

I've had a hisense in the past. Not as good as Samsung or LG, but from experience perfectly useable particularly on a budget.

Guess it depends on the size of their living space but personally I'd take a 55" hisense over a 43".
