I’m trying to help a young family with children with some financial difficulties and am going to get them a tv.
However I’m clueless about current models and specs across brands.

The 43” LG from very at £256 seems promising? Or the Hisense 55” at £314.90?

Not as good as Samsung or LG, but from experience perfectly useable particularly on a budget.
