Hearing Aid recommendations

Hi all, I currently have 2 hearing aids from Specsavers, which are the ones that you get free on the NHS.
I was thinking about going for in-ear hearing aids and just wondered if anyone else has hearing aids and what do they suggest??
Thanks.

Which model have you got from the NHS? The Oticon bluetooth one?

I have Bluetooth ones but they were supplied by my audiologist at the hospital…don’t think there is a threshold as my hearing loss is mild in both ears.

Hello, I suggest you check out this forum:

    forum.hearingtracker.com/

A lots of good people there who I am sure will help you.
You might need your recent audiogram if you've got one, so they can better advise you.
Have you got hearing aids from the NHS or you've got a pair of hearing aids from Specsavers similar to the NHS ones? (edited)

Personally, knowing from my ex how little training specsavers people had and how lenient teachers were pushed to be for the sake of pass numbers I would never take myself there for eartests or hearing aids

I have a hearing aid but i just use the Bluetooth resound model i was supplied by nhs which im more than happy with especially after seeing the same model costs just shy of a grand to buy private so i have no experience with private suppliers.
However i dont know how good they are but check out a company called Amplifon, ive done contracting work in many of their shops and they are hearing specialists apparently so might be worth a look ? (edited)

The NHS don’t offer ITE hearing aids due to the cost, if you are prepared to pay then maybe Costco is an option.
I’ve used boots and specsavers in the past but going forward I wouldn’t use them again.

I've just checked none near me in Co. Durham.
    Thanks for the suggestion though.
