Community Fibre

So I received an email from NowTV advising that I need to recontract before 17th February otherwise my monthly fee will increase dramatically. I am keen to switch to Community Fibre and there is has been one of those broadband boxes installed near me, but when I go to their website it just says coming soon for my address. Yesterday I spoke to Community Fibre both on their website chat and also over the phone, neither could give me a date as to when it would be switched on. Is there anyway to find out when its going to be made live?

    Where abouts are you? It’s best to speak to their sales team who should be able to provide you with accurate info.

    Nope, I'm in a similar situation to you. Tried contacting them in different ways to find out when it'll be available and they couldn't give me any more info. I'm currently deciding between staying with now for a few months or switch to another provider. The deals aren't that great at the moment.

    Staying with NowTv for only a few months will be expensive, but better than being stuck in a 12 month contract.

    As with any fibre network installer there’s just no telling. They could go live next week, or you could be waiting until next year still.

    If you see the engineers working in your street still (assuming they’re not finished already) you could ask them for a rough idea of when they think it will be done. But note that their answer still requires testing to be done and also connection on to the wider CF network before you go live.
