Hi,

I see that Cex have fairly good prices for the PC, does anyone have experience with them?

Just beware if it contains glass there’s a good chance your order will be cancelled if you try to buy online for delivery. Things like AIOs with screens built in, towers with glass case panels etc.

As for the experience itself the systems go through testing and are sold with a 2 year warranty. Returns are easy enough so very little to lose by giving them a chance.

Grading is subjective to the store and its tester. And they generally aren’t cleaned unless the previous owner bothered to do so - Expect to have to give it a clean yourself to make it look its best when it arrives.

Prebuilt system from my experience cannot be delivered, only collect from store.

You could full refund with local store within 2 weeks if there is any problem anyway

As long as the hardware all works as intended then any second hand PC can be made brand new. Just reinstall your OS of choice and its brand new.
