I'm new to the Fallout franchise. Never played a single game. Where should I start?

Fallout 4 is the easiest entry point. You can also install mods on console, letting you address some of the game's many flaws.

In terms of the first person, open world games, people rate Fallout: New Vegas the highest. But again, it's best played with mods, which are only available on PC.

This is pretty bad compared to other months. All bargain bucket games.

I think prime need to up their game seeing how much they've just increased their membership by & still giving away cheap or old games you can get elsewhere.

I have 2000+ hours in fallout, fallout 2 and fallout tactics combined. I am waiting for the day I introduce it to my son. He probably will deny me as a father but that will be ok.

Oh wow, they're giving away Behind The Frame VR currently. Not sure they've given away a VR game before?

Though this one seems to get an absolute savaging in reviews for being an atrocious port of a great 2D game. Oh well, cool stuff if it's the beginning of more freebies like it.

I was surprised to see a VR game too!

New Vegas and especially fallout 4 can be played how you want, as an FPS or storyline or base building
Even the two ways of combat appeal to different tastes,as mentioned incredible mod support too

I've never bought a Fallout game, but I've got all the Fallouts that Epic Games Store carries (strangely no Fallout 4 or Fallout 76 on Epic!) as freebies already (I'm never too sure now if my Epic freebies are actually Prime Gaming freebies that had Epic codes though!).

It's nice that Prime Gaming is gradually giving away the Atari "Recharged" series of games (I guess Tempest 4000 is "spiritually" part of that, though it's a separate Jeff Minter/Llamasoft production) - I've found them to be decent revamps of the originals. After this month, there'll only be a few Recharged games left to get as freebies to complete the set... (edited)

I loved Tempest in the arcade and am tempted to try Tempest 4000, especially as it's Jeff Minter.

As nice as it is to get free games I'll probably never play them. Wish they were steam keys
