    Asda 'Extra Thick' bleach is 90p, and better than Domestos because it is truly thick, so less is needed

    And, you only need to buy what you need:

    How did you get to £2.84? Comes out at £3.09 for me - no big deal only a few pence but just wondered if I’ve done something wrong. 4 items only gives me 10% S&S.

    Mine comes to £2.90 not sure why. I also had to opt for free delivery to my local collection point (as not a prime customer). But still a good deal.

    What’s the advantage of these more expensive brands vs supermarket own? If bleach is sodium hypochlorite, then does it matter which brand the compound comes from?

    There's no difference, people are paying for the reassurance of a pretty label, with no added value.
    Some will try to justify the expense by comparing with thin "value" bleach from supermarkets, but they're not comparing like with like. (edited)
