Personally I would recommend a CX31993 for about £5 on AliExpress. That's certainly a quality DAC.

This. I did, it was worth it.

If you're going to go the random manufacturer route for Chinese items these days you might as well go AliExpress rather than Amazon.

These may not be supported on your phone.

Or, as I found, will cut out at low volume. This is an android issue, not this adapter. Makes audio books a nightmare.

It's pathetic that this is needed in the first place. But hey, I'm supposed to move on with the times and not complain about it. Death to the headphone jack!

But good in a way. If you drop your phone into a liquid then less places for it to get into.

Looks like that one supports more older models than this one from the models listed in description, but that may work on the pixel 6 upwards.

I bought one a few years ago before I got wireless buds. The buzzing on the cheap adapters was a big downside, so check the reviews before purchasing

I've had a similar one for a Samsung S21 and like others have said, the sound is grainy. It drops out a lot. Prob not the wire, but the phone. Better to get the Samsung USBc cable earphones for the extra tenner as they work perfectly

Yep, USB-C wired headsets (I use these, or Bluetooth headsets) are the way to go!

I've got one. Doesn't play music no matter what I do. Bluetooth for me now I guess.
