Flatout was a damn fine game when it first came out. Holds up pretty well even now.
The special events where you drive up a ramp and eject the driver to hit a dart board or skim the driver across the water were hilarious as party games.

Wreckfest is a good more modern take on it.

Are there free games weekly like Epic, or just random, and if random is it possible to get notification? I'm already signed up to the newsletter, however I never actually see the free games being offered in the newsletter. I got GOG newsletter literally 2 hours ago, and no mentioned of this free game. AFAIK there are no notifications when it comes to freebies. It's good to visit the website once a week or more often to see if something new is being given away. You can also follow some tags dedicated to free games on social media. That will keep you posted as soon as something comes up.

I first heard of GOG when they gave Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics for free around 2017. Big fan of this platform since then. Great selection of games, fair return policy based on trust to the consumer. Last but not least: no DRM s##t. What's not to love about them? (edited)

I DO NOT agree to receive junk mail for ever from you and your partners to get a 20 year old game for free. (edited)

FlatOut games were great, I think I clocked up over 200 hours in total across the first few (Flatout/Flatout 2/Flatout Ultimate Carnage).

this was the game that had me ready to yoink xbox out upstairs window. having to clear up after, and if a passerby was under it or stepped on remains (and knowing folk who'd appreciate it as gift) stopped the madness.
Kids smashing up new release consoles in front of the queue for that year;s console happened after, and decades on i get it now.
Wholly accidentally upgraded to Wreckfest on PC.
So there's >24 others in the addct circle.
Crashing driver out the window at a target is a meek thing to do comparatively, be aware.
WF as financially safer addiction than rel world racing or online gmblin = true. hopefully.
    thx op
