Finasteride

Hi all

Is anyone using Finasteride for hair regrowth and if so how are you finding the results and how long has it taken to see positive results if you are

I’m thinking about trying it but the cheapest I can find is £265 for a year on boots

Years ago I used regaine spray but it never worked for me

It may help with MPBaldness sure but : It's an antiandrogen or testosterone blocker - basically a mild chemical castration. Potential side effects are feminisation and will include an increased risk of breast cancer as well as a potential loss of sexual function which can persist after the medication is stopped. Also depression. Bit surprised you can buy the stuff tbh. Please go in with your eyes open.

Mate, I have been using Finasteride for over 2 years now for an enlarged prostate. Believe me it does sweet fa for hair growth! Lol

Used it for a few years and got some regrowth. Takes at least 2-3 months before you notice anything. Thankfully didn't experience any sides. Of the "big 3" fin had the most for effect for regrowth in my experience. I would buy mine from Pharmica or UK Meds. They were the cheapest legit sources from what I could find.
I used a pill splitter to take half a tablet /0.5mg a day. Research showed it was only slightly less effective than the whole 1mg and it may reduces sides or at the very least half the cost.
