New Mobile phone advice.

Having problems with my Motorola at the moment. I'm with Voxi which uses Vodaphone. They have switched the 3G network off , but there dosen't seem to be a 4G network in my area, that is very odd but the coverage map on the Voxi website for 4G is in red. I'm now having problems sending photos to customers. I'm using a Moto g 7 , a few years old now bought from Argos. I didn't want to buy another phone but may have too. What would you guy's suggest for a new 5g phone , under £200, 5,000mAh battery , decent camera, Sim free from Argos if possible. Thanks

The Moto g 7 seems to support eSIMs. Maybe worth seeing what's out there.

You may be able to try something out without waiting for a new SIM, and can keep your number while buying eSIM data.

    Sim Only 5G - 5GB Data (EE Network) + 500 Mins / Unltd Texts For £1pm first 4 months - £5 Thereafter (eSim Compatible)

Apparently when you add an eSIM to a normal SIM you can choose which mobile number you're using, handy for home/work numbers. (edited)

Cheers guy's for the reply's. As said I did'nt really want to shell out for another phone. Happy with this one even though it may be an old model. Also, I'm happy with Voxi, 15GB of data for £10 a month. I have decisions to make, pointless being on a network that seems to work in some areas and not in others.
    Thanks

Sorry to bump a week old comment but just so you are aware Voxi has 30GB for £10 you should be able to switch to that using your online Voxi account. An extra 15GB for no more money than you're already paying

Would it not be worth ordering a SIM from another network and trying that first before maybe buying another phone? Just an idea could be cheapest thing to do first unless your looking to get a new phone anyway .

Yeah, the 4G network is much larger than the 5G one so unless you specifically know vodaphone has a 5G service in your location then swapping phones is unlikely to solve anything.

The Moto G7 isn't listed on Vodafone's compatibility list for VoLTE. Only the G7 Play.

It shouldn't matter, but Vodafone is one of the weirder companies when it comes to support for these features on other device models.

I've just had a quick Google and it seems someone has a Moto G7 Power, also not on Vodafone's list and found it didn't support it, but that it worked fine on EE's network.

If it was me, I would be picking up a SIM From a whole different network and move over to that if it works, rather than blowing money on another phone that you say you don't even want.

They are all rubbish but different companies have differnt black spots. 5g makes no difference. (edited)
