Your Steam Library, anywhere
Once you've logged into Steam Deck, your entire Steam Library shows up, just like any other PC. You can dynamically filter any view in your library by compatibility rating if you're looking for specific sorts of experiences.

Steam Deck Certified Refurbished FAQ
What’s the difference between a certified refurbished unit and a new unit?
Certified Refurbished units are returned customer units that have been thoroughly cleaned and tested following the same testing process used for new units. There are no differences in technical or functional specifications between refurbished and new units, but there may be minor cosmetic defects.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. The same warranty you receive with a new unit is provided with each Certified Refurbished unit. If you have an issue with your unit and that issue cannot be resolved it will be replaced with another Certified Refurbished unit.
What are “minor cosmetic defects”?
We consider minor cosmetic defects to be small blemishes or scratches (on the plastic casing, not the screen) generally caused from normal handling of the unit.
How does support work for these units?
As a customer with a Certified Refurbished unit, you will receive the exact same customer support experience through our support teams as you would with a new unit.
- The same one year warranty as a new Steam Deck (unless longer as determined by your country of residence)
- A refurbished power supply - fully tested (may have minor cosmetic marks)
- Carrying case and Quick Start guide

sorted byThe slightest irregularity and they RMA.
Some of them several times in a row…
One teen returned his deck 4 times in a row, each time finding some tiny flaw to return it.
His excuses were such things as a click sound when pressing a button for instance.
So the vast majority of returns are just for no reason at all.
The problem lies with Valve.
They are too nice.
If you ever have a problem with your deck, you can just contact Valve support and they will move mountains to make sure everything is ok, because they value their reputation so much, and they also give you Gabes email too, so if they can’t fix it, you can contact the billionaire boss directly, and see what he says…
You’d think I would be making it up, but it does actually happen.
Gabe reads all his emails..
10 out 10 customer service years after your purchase is rare nowadays. So Icouldn't recommend them any more. A deck is worth a lot more than what they are selling them for too.
The OLED screen has better colours.
Its horses for courses at this point…
I will say though, as I am on the steam deck forums every day, there are far more problems with the OLED version than there is the LCD version.
3 days to deliver to your door from purchase date.
Very fast, and very reliable.

I never get why people try to bag on the deck and steams efforts, perhaps they just weren't invested in the handheld landscape before?
They've pushed the PC handheld market to the mainstream, it's gone from GPD and Aya releasing niche handhelds to Asus and Lenovo buying in.
They forced a solid price point by likely making a loss, no longer does £500 get you mediocre hardware and £1k for competitive.
They've pushed Linux gaming further than any other company with tech like proton, vulkan and steamOS. It gives gamers options, Microsoft no longer has a stranglehold on PC gaming despite their best efforts manufacturers can offer a viable £0 OS on their gaming devices. Additionally steamOS gives an easy no hassle entry point for console/non technical gamers.
Sure have a preference on a handheld, more options are great! But you have to recognise they largely exist and are priced the way they are due to Valve and that was one of their goals when creating the deck. (edited)
Mine was mint so well worth going for.
Personally, I'd buy a 256 and get a 512 sd card. That way you get the best of all worlds for the cheapest price.
Most games run fine from SD card but some (not many) are better from internal storage.
But what let's it down is the screen, when you look at the oled one(at a price though) you will never buy this.
Screen aint the best but this is £200 cheaper.
Some people, simply, don't care as we are not snobs.
a linux machine with working sound and bluetooth
fantastic value
dont worry bout the OLED model
buy this and an OLED monitor and use as a PC
I added a large capacity microSDXC card so didn't need open it up - game installs are tiny compared to what is required for a full desktop gaming pc - so a large capacity SD card plus installed 256GB SSD is all you need.
Take mine everywhere, got a 15.6 portable monitor which doesn't need a dock, it's basically a portable pc set up for Steam games.
512GB still available at £319 (edited)
