    Good price, but I prefer to buy Strepsils Extra containing hexylresorcinol or supermarket alternatives which are a fraction of the price of Strepsils. I had tonsillitis a few years ago and always carry a pack in my bag, just in case! (edited)

    Very helpful comment - this lead me to a well reviewed Tesco brand with that active ingredient. Perfect timing too as I need something like this for my daughter.

    Great price - good relief when needed. Tesco are selling them for £6!
    B&M have the 24 pack on sale atm - works out at just over a penny per lozenge more expensive than this deal:

    Poo-poo product, check the ingredients, sucrose and glucose, more sugar in a pill. No idea how that would relieve a sore throat! (edited)

    If you want to prolong a sore throat, feed it some sugar.
    Bacterial infections love sugar. Anyone who's had tooth decay will know.
