Help - need to ventilate my shower

Need some help guys. I have one of those showers In my flat has no windows. Just a tiny extractor fan - which doesn’t appear to be very good as I had a build up of mould on the plaster board ceiling.

Being very smart I decided to spray the ceiling with a copious amount a lot of HG mould remover and then realised the smell is too strong and couldn’t stand there…any longer or else I’d pass out or worse!!!!

I’ve shut the door and left the fan on…any idea how to ventilate the shower quickly as possible????

Open the bathroom door, open other doors and windows for the rooms around it to get airflow through your home, and then ideally run a fan in your bathroom pointing out in the direction of the airflow passing through your home.

Then shut yourself in another different room or go for a walk. Things shouldn't take long to clear.

Will have to wait for the Mrs to take the little one out before I do that but thanks I’ll be sure to try that out

We've found a Dehumidifier brilliant for keeping down the condensation. Just run for 30 minutes or so each time you shower . Also good to put on whilst cooking in the kitchen.

We don't have any windows in our shower that's now in the centre of the house after extending 4m.
We have a small exstractor that we don't always have switched on.
    Two things you can do.
First is to add loads of insulation above ceiling to stop the surface getting cold and condensation forming.
Also buy a dehumidifier and run for a few hours every night during the winter months. A dehumidifier is a real game changer.
Ventilation helps but won't stop the humidity in the house forming on cold surfaces (edited)

What is the best ceiling ventilator you should buy in terms of power and extraction ability?

Building regs require 15 litres per second for bathrooms.
Don't forget to increase that amount to cover the loses that ductwork and vent covers cause.
Also set it so it runs for 30 mins after the switch goes off.
