What silicone/sealant for fitting a glass splashback?

Hi all,

After an advice please. Currently there are ceramic tiles above the cooker and we wish to fit a white glass splashback behind instead (60cm x 50cm). I am confused with regards to what type of silicone to use, read couple of DiY forums and few are saying different things in respect of the silicone/sealant. Can someone please advise what type is the best? It will be sealed to the existing tiles. Having a look on Screwfix website there are lots of different silicones, but is there one especially for this type of job?

Thanks in advance

Use a polymer grab. CT1 or OB1 or similar brand. I use loads of stixall as cheaper.

Ct1 fixes everything. It’s the dogs swingers.

Found some on Amazon for £12. Shame Screwfix doesn't sell it tho.

I used this for my glass splashback. Worked really well for me. (edited)
