Ford Fiesta used spare wheel to buy

Hi , I want to buy a spare 17 inch pre-owned/used alloy wheel for my Ford Fiesta 2017. Can some one please recommend some shops to buy in South London? Is buying this from online (eg- ebay) safe? TIA

I bought a replacement used wheel (also Fiesta 17") from eBay a couple of years ago and it was all good. I messaged first, asking about any damage.

If you want used/ preowned try eBay, Facebook market place or your local scrap/ breakers yards.
google search shows availability on eBay and Facebook.
i would say it’s pretty safe to buy from eBay if you read the description carefully and buy from a seller with good feedback. If you can inspect wheel before buying from Facebook or scrap yard. Make sure it’s not damaged. If you can get a wheel with a legal fitted tyre so much the better, if tyre is deflated take extra care, tyre or wheel may be damaged or unsafe so inflate, test and inspect carefully before buying.
second hand wheels are pretty cheap so won’t break the bank, if it is not a genuine/ oem fiesta wheel make sure actually fits on your car. Wheels are not Universal and may not fit your car.

Sorry no recommendations but, is this for carrying around with you? Don't think a 17 inch rim will fit, normally a 14/15 inch space saver.

No problem, the main wheels are currently 17 inch. Yes to use as a spare wheel. Last week I had a nail puncture and the RAC guys didnt bother to use my tyre repair kit. They just asked me to take the car to a tyre shop after inflating the tyre. Very much annoyed. (edited)

Have you checked your car has boot space for the the full width of a wheel the same width as your road wheels?
many cars only have room for a space saver.

Be careful with ebay, I wouldnt buy another from there, there's a big seller sending out different wheels than the photos, one I got had tonnes of rust and completely different tyre.
Next time I'm going to a scrap yard.

Breakers on eBay or their own sites have really modernised. You put your reg number in and it searches for matching parts on your model. That's how I got quarter lights and a wing mirror in the past. Breakers do carry wheels with tyres on them.
