Water in toilet air vent

Hi All,

Today I have accessed my loft to check the toilet air vents and noticed one of the air vent is disconnected and water on an insulation material. Another vent is filled with water and about to disconnect the air vent attached image where water is clogged marked with red arrow

Question: is it normal to have the water in the toilet air vent or something wrong

Thanks in advance

The warm steam condenses back to water on the cold pipes. It'll either drip back down the air vent or collect somewhere and may be heavy enough to disconnect the tubing.
I'd recommend replacing the tubing with insulated vent pipe. In the meantime attach the tubing so it runs back down towards the fan (assuming it's above a bath/shower)

Thanks for your response, I checked and its toilet vent not the shower/bath vent.

You need to change that pipe.

Condensation will form inside but go horizontal up and out.
I used soul pipe with the rubber water tight seal and toilet pan connectors as all the correct size, but you can buy solid plastic ducting pipe made for the job.
    Look it up.
Add some wood to support pipe.

    Plenty of help online

Shorten the air pipe by cutting with a knife then cut the steel wire in the coil with some pliers or anything suitable.
This will reduce the length of the pipe and stop the sag. Use cable ties or duct tape to fix the pipe back to stop it coming off in the future.
You don't need an insulated pipe in the loft as it's an internal run in a warm space.
