Ebay fees has it gone for so.e sellers?

I see this on my ebay page
"There's no new 'side hustle tax'!
We want to give you peace of mind that there’s no new ‘side hustle tax’ or a change to existing tax rules for selling online.
In general, selling personal items is not taxed if they’re below £6,000 and you’re not selling as part of a business."
So does that mean myself who sells now and again can sell my stuff as long as it's under £6000. I won't pay any fees? That can't be right. Or am I misunderstanding it. Please could someone help with this. Thank you

The difference between "tax" and "fees" is quite important here. The former you pay to the government so they can give it to their mates to buy boats with. The latter you pay to eBay so you can continue to trade on their platform. (edited)

Thanks for that. I thought it was too good to be true. It even has examples like this one
"Grace, Manchester Grace sells old clothes to make space in her wardrobe. Even if she sells a lot of her old or unwanted clothes, she isn’t trading and sells her old clothes for less than she paid for them, so there is no tax.
    Annual eBay sales: £420
    Annual eBay profit: £0
    Taxes owed: £0"
So you do still pay fees. It's just made out that you don't. Sneaky sneaky

I've got zero fees until the 15th April.
It will be somewhere on your selling page if you also have it.

Bare in mind the government employed 21 people to police these selling sites I wouldn’t worry at all . I’m not (edited)

Just make sure that you don’t get made into a Power seller as the tax man will wanna know all about you.
