Amazon business sellers…

I believe you can cap the number of orders you’re willing/able to accept each day?

Basically somebody I know says they cap it but it doesn’t work and the orders just keep coming. I can’t believe this, if Amazon enables a cap, it would work surely.

Anyone any knowledge or experience please?

    Not familiar with current implementation,
but when order cap was first introduced (2021?) it wasn't actually a hard cap as such:
it was a tool to extend the (tolerable) order handling time.
Amazon's marketing of this to sellers included the phrase
As soon as you get 1 more order than your limit, the tool will automatically add 1 business day to your handling time for all additional orders to make sure your business isn’t overwhelmed.
    History lesson over.

I think Amazon are more likely to push FBA than an order suppression tool.
A simple solution would be to reduce the number in stock on Amazon, but I don't know if there's a way to automate it.
