Paving for Outdoor Patio - which ones do you have?

Do you recommend the paving you have for your garden? If so which brand type is it please?

I'm doing away with a red brick herringbone style and was interested in slab paving, but I want something easy to clean, maintain and doesn't show dirt too easily, anything I should be mindful of?

Thanks

Porcelain looks great and can be cleaned easily. However, you need to be careful in winter with black ice. Ive been over a few time on mine. I ended up putting down rubber mats in winter and removing them when there is no frost. At the time I bought them I went for one with a textured finish, but still slippery in ice and when wet

As others have said, Porcelain would be the way to go. A few big brands are below which you can get free samples from and request brochures etc to give you some design ideas. They also have recommended installers if you have no one in mind.

    marshalls.co.uk/gar…ing
    bradstone.com/pro…ng/

We have Marshall’s Arrento and Symphony.

I've seen quite a few porcelain installations lately and I'd agree with all the above especially regarding maintenance, we've got Indian stone which looked lovely when new around 10 years ago but it's pretty tired now, by the nature of it puddles form which accelerates them getting dirty, they require jet washing frequently which in turn damages the pointing between the slabs, as the years have gone by they've become increasingly stained and even after a thorough jet washing they no longer look great.

For those reasons despite initially looking good I wouldn't recommend Indian as a long term solution. (edited)
