    I used to work in a factory that made the material for Fat face, they made the same for Ralph Lauren etc.
    Fat face is one of the best.

    Todd snyder " An American company " was another and Marks and spencer premium range. There was a few more but can't really remember the names.

    Todd Snyder always looked the best to me they wanted certain dyes etc but looking at the prices I can see why. (edited)

    Love their dresses, bought 4 in the last year and no complaints, material is excellent, just hope they don't go online as I prefer to go to their actual shop and try the items on.

    It looks like Next are going to treat them as a separate business and keep their stores as they are currently opening more.

    I have a 10 year old pair of jeans of theirs still not gone into holes. Is the quality anything like it was back in the day? They were bought by someone were they not (edited)

    I think the quality is still excellent, they’ve just been bought by Next so will see if it changes but wouldn’t expect it too as I find Next usually really good too (although I don’t shop with them often). (edited)

    I'm a big fan of FF and over the years I've bought a lot of items from them, a lot of which I still have, but the quality has reduced somewhat in recent years. I'm guessing this is due to financial problems which is a real shame. I wasn't aware that they had been taken over by Next and I personally don't think this is a good thing. Going on past experience I would expect to see either a further deterioration in quality or a significant increase in cost (or both). I hope I'm wrong however. Heat for the deal though.

    Quality is quite good but just not very interesting. Style wise it looks like M&S clothing, drab and dull.

    Personally I was an avid next customer but they are always saying I return a lot.  Not the fact I also keep a lot. I’ve stopped buying clothes from next as the quality isn’t what it once was. I converted to fat face a number of years ago.

    I love their Airlie sweatshirts - really thick cotton\almost canvas type material and look better the longer you wash\wear them. The rugby shirts are also great quality.

    Great value if you can get them in a sale.
