It's completely free so worth downloading and checking what's about locally for you.

I've used it to collect items and also to give items away.

Everyone has always arrived when they arranged to pick up from me.

I've picked up free items on way home from work for example, some items it's probably wouldn't be worth me making a specific trip but if I was passing anyway. I've had some useful none food items too which I have been very grateful for. (edited)

Much more worthwhile if you live in a city. I'm out in the countryside & you have to travel too far for stuff.

It’s a good little site. I set my mileage, don’t want to travel more than 3 miles. It’s not all free , there’s a for Sale part as well, which I’ve not used as it is more expensive than my current favourite Vinted.

Absolute garbage now! It was great, then it became popular enough that they could try and properly monetise it - sound familiar?

It was pushed as a way to save waste, but I was told (by some time ago I regular collections) that they're being paid by the supermarkets to make their collections.

I've been using it for years until last year they forced 30 second ads down your throat before you can make any request! It's either that, or pay to use it! Now I only use it for non food collections and post things I was to get rid of on freecycle - they've been around for ages and aren't in it for the money, so they get my vote!

That's a different perspective but a useful one - thanks for sharing.
