The rest is just lazy plumbing. Get a plastic pipe of your own and soften it with a hot air blower to get the modest angle you need.
It might not drain properly due to being bunged up before it goes through the wall"},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/52629260","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"aLV426"},"datePublished":"2024-04-23T16:30:32.000Z","text":"Yeah, lazy plumbing also that black pipe looks close to the same height as the white part which would explain it slow draining at the best of times. Why it's slow now is probably due to it being clogged."},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/52629294","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"matthews9479"},"datePublished":"2024-04-23T16:36:42.000Z","text":"It has not been piped correctly .

Get them back to replace the pipework correctly.
The bit circled in red where the pipe goes lower and then back up should not be there.
They need to repipe it so that there is no down then up again. That section will probably be full of hair and soap which is causing the blockage."},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/52629389","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"RoosterNo1"},"datePublished":"2024-04-23T16:52:17.000Z","text":"The far part is creating another trap ! The water needs to build enough weight to overcome that before it will Syphon away.... We had the same problem with slow water draining and the plumber said there wasn't enough distance between the exit and entry for the gradient needed. This was caused when my husband got the bath turned around and so the distance was shortened.
They had to turn the tub back."},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/52630423","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Willy_Wonka"},"datePublished":"2024-04-23T19:50:12.000Z","text":"It isn't lazy plumbing, it is shockingly bad plumbing.
Get them back & replace it for free & tell them you will send them the bill if they don't.
Talk about taking the mick."}],"commentCount":14,"interactionStatistic":6,"articleSection":"Ask"}
