Heavy duty airbed, or good alternative?

Hi, currently using an airbed so I can sometimes sleep in the same room as our son, it was fine but it’s developed a puncture and I haven’t had much luck in fixing it

I’m after either a heavy duty alternative that’s hopefully less likely to break, or maybe an alternative - although the fact an airbed rolls up so small is definitely appealing.

Any suggestions would be very welcome please, thanks!

I'm currently looking at Ikea options, I also found a foam futon, they can be had for around £30 or this one for £70 at Argos: argos.co.uk/pro….ds

Aerobed are good, but looking on eBay I'm not sure they're still going, probably another victim of consumerism driving prices and quality down.

Currently looking too for the same reasons. We've been looking at the Japanese floor mattresses, or, what we're likely to go for, a tri-fold single mattress. They obviously take up more space. There's a few on Amazon, but not as cheap as an airbed.

Thanks! I actually got a floor mattress from Amazon but it wasn’t great, might try another or a tri-fold like you said as they would both be much more comfortable than a flat airbed

Would a folding bed a better option?
