Aliexpress - EVRI left the parcel OUTSIDE OF MY BUILDING, and somebody took it

I am not writing here asking for anything, it is just for your information, to add one more topic to never ending EVRI stories. They left 3 parcels outside of my building today, right next to a busy road, and were smart enough to take a photo of it as proof of delivery.

List of losses:
1) OnePlus 12 -490$
2) A watch - 58$
3) A strap for a watch - around 5$

So far Aliexpress was always on my side when I opened a dispute, however this time it is about the most expensive item I ever bought, so will see. If they don't give me my money back, it will be my last purchase on Aliexpress. And I will never buy anything that is delivered by EVRI, so write your stories everywhere ladies and gents, and maybe one day eBay, Ali etc. will get rid of that scam courier.

Unfortunatelly I know I lost it 100%, because I found empty bags on the road on the other side of the building with my name on them... I can't even open a dispute with EVRI, as it needs to be done by the person that send it...

Regards

Posts like this make my blood boil. Yes the courier should be footing the bill BUT I do wish someone would somehow post some attractive food that would get nicked that would be laced with something terrible. Would love to see such thieves get what they deserve

This makes my blood boil, because some lazy so & so can't be bothered to do their job properly, you have this problem to deal with. Why are we lumbered with such useless delivery companies in the UK.

What really pisses me off is that I am happy to pay for a proper delivery yet I have got no choice. Ali is using both RM and EVRI, don't really know why some parcels are delivered by one and other by the second one. RM may be painful sometimes, but generally speaking I am fine with them. EVRI is pure evil and if I don't get my money back now, I won't buy anything online that is delivered by them again. (edited)

They are literally the worst courier ever. I ordered a golf club from eBay and they took over 3 weeks to deliver it. I was EXTREMELY fortunate to receive it at all in the end, in a squashed box with luckily no damage, no thanks to Evri

Leave a scathing review of the monkey that left it out, get the sacked.

Make sure you have a photo of your empty hands for evidence. You can borrow this one if you like.

You've got one part of your body empty for sure, and it's not hands.

High value item, get it delivered when you know you are going to be in or to a local collection point.
Hopefully you will get it sorted.

If you order from Aliexpress it will turn up whenever it turns up.

My last parcel was recorded at a UK airport awaiting customs (or whatever) & turned up at the door 5 hours later.

No courier was even listed. (edited)

Well just this morning I got a package "delivered" I say delivered as it was literally thrown at my door. By the time I got up to check the delivery person had left. I lifted the package off the ground (it was raining) and that's when I realised it was for my neighbour.
More disturbing is that my neighbour caught it all on camera.... (edited)

Evri brilliant for us. DPD and RM by far the worst muppets

Guess you wait for a response from Aliexpress. Evri don't have a contract with you so no point in contacting them Hope you paid with a credit card.

We call our local Evri guy 'Knock and Run' , he always drops the parcel on the door step , knocks or rings and then he's off. Never waits for you to answer the door and you actually have to be really quick to see him driving off. Luckily the door is on the side and we live in a quiet area.

Must be part of their training, ours does exactly the same

I am being lucky, my local Evri delivery lady is good.
I have notification from Evri app before she come.

Having said that, although I live at cul-de-sac and we had doggy people around previously. 50% of the houses now has CCTV to cover driveway, which is difficult to escape.

I've used AliExpress several times and strictly keep maximum order size to £40. Anything over £100 would be foolhardy. This was before reading above that AliExpress's delivery method is uncontrollable and last mile tracking isn't guaranteed to be available. Then again I'm pretty leery of placing any order on Amazon for high value portable items. AliExpress would need to offer me a guaranteed collection point option to get me interested in placing bigger orders.

Right guys, Ali keeps rejecting my claim because in their opinion I cannot prove that I didn't get it. What are my options? I'm happy to spend some money on a lawyer etc if needed.

Unfortunately I paid using Monzo card not PayPal, however since they are using MasterCard, I heard that I can use a cashback through them.

In the meantime I contacted the Police and surprisingly they came back to me next day, opened a case and requested CCTV footage from my building management company.

What are my options against Evri? Probably not many, since I'm not their customer and chinese seller doesn't care.

They got quite a lot of customers thanks to me, as I was recommending a lot of products from Ali, even here. But obviously if they don't solve it, then I'll be warning everybody to never buy anything worth more than $10-$15 on that platform. (edited)
