Cold, they are suffering heavily because of Facebook marketplace etc. They need to reduce their fees all round.

Have you seen the The Business Advertisements (Disclosure) Order 1977 I posted above? That is UK law... Also, the Office of Fair Trading screenshot? That is also regarding UK law... That is not, "an opinion" As for eBay policy, I have hardly mentioned it, you and the others brought that in to the conversation, I merely stated that eBay policy cannot contradict UK law... Those laws I have screenshot above. The laws I have posted about the whole way through.. Bye.

All that was checked out before option 2. Still lives at same address, still receiving plenty of nonsense calls and useless sign up offers.

Having an opinion is not trolling. I have been very respectful, and request the same back thank you. Again you are listing eBay policy, not uk law

UPS I would say. Having said that I send porcelain items all the time and the few breakages we have had, all have been with DPD. Their claim procedure is somewhat cumbersome, having to provide supplier invoices for the cost price if items sent etc. My issue with them is that when we make custom items for customers they do do not reimburse for the labour cost. Hope that helps. Any Q's just shout

Cheers for info. Any of those services where you would feel comfortable not insuring an item or partial insurance? That's where it get expensive.

Domestically DPD are hard to beat for good experience - particularly for recipients. Royal Mail Special Delivery remains gold standard for small urgent items. UPS very good, but more expensive, both domestic and for international.

Ups express saver is quick and great value. I always use this to send quickly to USA. Dpd were much more expensive and same time frame for delivery

That sounds good Amazon couriers hopefully it will be a budget courier to replace Hermes

Yes it might have been going on for years but this promotion was added recently as it is not available all year round :{

I've seen this option for at least a year, maybe years. It's not a new thing.

I wondered the same thing as every item I ordered didn't give me the no rush delivery option..Then the other day I bought some baking tins and it gave the the option..

Why is it whenever I go to order I don’t get offered the £1 credit? Do they keep pulling this promotion?

You are given the credit for your next purchase after the item you have ordered is dispatched.

Happened to me, they were ordering credit cards on my identity, then following the postman round under the guise of a leaflet deliverer and easily accessing the box, they're not that secure.

Doesn't want the postman seeing her wondering around naked

Even though Royal Mail deliver right to the door? Why would she do that? Quite apart from any security issues.

Ordered a load of items over last week, everyone was either sold or fulfilled by amazon, not once was I offered a credit. Is it because I'm on student prime, or is it because in past if i wanted 10 items I would make 10 orders to get £10 credit?

The item arrived today

Seems the products that can be part of the deal must have a Prime delivery date of "tomorrow", if they go beyond "tomorrow" to a later date they won't get the offer. Also something will have a day two days out before midnight, get to midnight and for a while it'll have "tomorrow", and that seems to by why everything I was looking at over the weekend wasn't showing the No Rush promotion in the checkout, as they were all giving at least 2 day delivery estimates. So the offer is still up and running, but it seems to be a case of "keep trying" as the availability and date estimations keep changing, which impacts availability of the offer.

The credit is given when item is dispatched.

Has Amazon ended this early as i ordered on the 4th and no credit has been applied

Id be interested in a theme that can handle 1000s of items

Yeah I did have a look at debut but then wasn't sure the clean aspect would work with our large inventory - I think we have something like 2000 products listed and we've definitely got more in store! sorry what do you mean by site stats? on the sessions by landing page tab my home page is ranked 1

To be honest I did it without any tutorials simply because I found Shopify's interface super easy to use. We used the Debut theme which was really clean. I don't know what you're selling but if you keep your theme really basic and site clean you can build it out with features from the app store. Have you looked at some of your site stats from the landing page? It'll give you an insight as to how you compare with competitors or similar sites.

yes please do you just use YouTube tutorials for most things? as im tempted to use fiverr/people per hour for example for paid work, but basically, I just want it to look more 'professional'. I used a shopify free theme, its ok but not the best. we're doing ok in terms of sales but thats only because, I think, they've visited our shop. I just wouldn't trust our site from first glance. The statistics of landing on it and buying are pretty poor too.

Yes, long hours for sure! I’m not doing 21 yet but I’m well on my way!

My boys have one of these. The top part of the cars are made up of maybe eight or ten pieces that only loosely attach to the chasis. The idea is that you smash the cars into each other (or inanimate objects) and the car explodes into pieces. You'll spend most of your time putting the thing back together again, as a result 20 minutes of run time lasts considerably longer. The main vehicle recharges via USB and the controller uses only a couple of batteries. To be fair they love playing with theirs, but be prepared to help them put it back together again - over and over again.

20 min run time....

so who do people suggest for 2 x 28KG loads going to another uk addy, only one i could fine was DPD and from my understanding that stands for "Dodgy Parcel Delivery" i'm looking at £67

"say goodbye to unwanted gifts" - send them via parcel force and noone will ever see them again! 😜

Paid over £13 to send a 'small parcel' at the post office on Monday 16th as my package was just 265g over Royal mail's 2kg limit and the assistant sent it via Parcelfarce 48 with me expecting for it to be out for delivery two days later. But instead it was sat at the delivery depot for at least two full days from 17 to 20th and then out for delivery on the 20th then again out for delivery on the 22nd then returned to depot and out again on the 23rd and finally delivered that day, bargain! I also had to wait a week for a delivery to reach me on a 48 hour service a month back because it was stuck at the posting location for two whole days at the beginning of the week and being parcelfarce were nice enough to make me wait until the next Monday, 7 days after posting, to deliver. Last thing, booked a collection for a £500 used musical instrument about a year ago waited all day for them to tell me on the phone that my booking I made online somehow didn't go through so they had no log of it. I used UPS in the end and he turned up a little early with a message on the answerphone to make sure I was there as I just got back home, they were very good. I'll avoid PF at all costs.

What would anyone do with 20% "of" Parcelfarce?

Haven't seen them at this price for some time. I did check it hadn't already been posted, so hopefully it's not a repeat.

Not at all, "That's great" was a very sincere comment. I like the idea of posting being two fold, ie to alert others to a great deal, or info to advise others where an even better deal exists.

Salty! :o

Cold... £1.25 in tesco for the past week

£1.25 Tesco atm and wine gums

Same comments as last time. 350g in the pound shop, but different brand. Evidently Bassets box is the same size, but the contents (400g) have shrunk! :D Normally manufacturers blame the contents have settled for a half empty container, like horlicks, hot chocolate, etc. Difficult to say that with something solid like wine gums!

wtlyingf is 7.20 cr on despatchbay?

You will get much better prices linking your market place accounts on parcel force. Interestingly I can't get anywhere near your despatchbay you send a lot of parcels monthly to get a better discount?

I've just checked out of curiosity. Direct with parcelforce is £12.72 for 24hr dropping off at the post office with £100 compensation, including this discount. I've just checked my despatchbay account which is £5.64 for the exact same service with parcelforce. Rip off

Yep always worth getting other quotes as depends what you are sending. I find Parcelforce website can offer better deals on higher value items i.e. Parcelforce48 provides 100 compensation as standard whereas the parcel sites will have lower compensation amounts and you may likely have to pay extra to fully insure your item. I find the parcelforce market place linked account prices to be pretty good value for my bulkier items but yeah as always shop around for best prices.

Thankyou heat given.(y)

Never understood this. Pay money to tell my kids a lie that Santa exists & he sent a letter. When he doesn't turn up on Christmas Eve, you have to deal with the disappointment. I little later on in life they realise Santa doesn't exist and they were lied to all these years. Parents have lost a lot of credibility & when they can't deliver certain things they promised, they are called liers by their own kids. It's for charity I hear you say. How much is going to charity out of the 61p spend? It's a money making scam based on lies. If you really care, give £1 directly to the charity or even just 61p for the skinflints.
