Should have delivered direct to there warehouse via a different carrier then it would have been more cheaper I send bulk parcels all the time

If it's not really heavy then try DPD, they're owned by a European postal network and have a 30kg limit for European parcels.

dte

Thanks, I'll have a look

dte

No a bike, with the wheels off it shouldn't be that big.

4810510

If it's that big best put it on a wooden pallet and Google for European pallet network.

I’ve never had issues internally but internationally from sending customs VAT invoices to random folk who pay my bills then delivering them my goods ! Happens too often. I pay for 3-5 day from China , sits at Heathrow for 3 weeks. I just run online car part business with Chinese goods maybe 2-3k a month on orders from Far East and I wouldn’t use PF ever again. They just don’t care about the customer.

Gary_Hills

Reasonable for getting items around the UK though - Especially to Scotland and the Highlands :)

I used Parcel2go.com for sending a parcel (not international) selected parcelforce & dropped it off at a local post office,no hassle & at a god price

KatsudonVince

Try parcel monkey too.

Mohammed84

If sending abroad i found Interparcel https://uk.interparcel.com/ to be one of the cheapest. I'm sending a parcel tomorrow from UK mainland to Austria 2kg 30cm x 30cm x 10cm £10.38 inc VAT whereas Parcelforce quoted more than £37 inc VAT (without the 14% discount) Cold from me

sam_of_london

Poor service and very few offices . Wish it was part of royal mail as it gets parcels from abroad from royal mail counterparts .

Wondering if I will be able to fit t-shirt or light cardigan inside a bag of this size?

alexjameshaines

Surprised this plastic hasn't been banned with all the latest nonsense! I'm all for saving the environment but don't take away my straws before you replace them with cardboard ones! I'm looking at you McDonald's!!! + as it's black plastic non recyclable in my county!

RyMz

This is very cheap if you send small items out. Normally cost £3 Min. For £1.62 delivered - you can not go wrong.... HOT Remember it is just the bag and they are thin but not easy brakeable.

Read the reviews for the Tamworth depot. These idiots stole the phone out of the delivery box, I managed to claim my money back from Samsung, so just a word of warning. I'm sure there's lots of success stories but unfortunately not for me.

Worst delivery service. And very terrible customer service. My parcel spent 3 working days at the shop I dropped it off at. And they won't expedite the delivery even after acknowledging their own confusion. You are better off using snail mail

JustLikeArkwright

UPS, one issue in 15 years. Had the same driver on my route in that time.. Wouldn't go elsewhere for pickups.

totalmere82

Voted cold as UPS has to be worst delivery service going. Had so many problems with them and thier customer service is dire to go with it.

andrew_marsh

UPS provide terrible service. (poo)

nyctaxi

Just be aware that you don’t usually get a receipt when giving a drop-off parcel straight to a UPS driver. This means that it’s first scanned when it first reaches the depot. There is a (low) risk of things going missing without trace using this method. At least in the drop-off shop they give you a receipt to prove you’ve dropped it off.

Tried this way yesterday so heat from me had no idea this print service in shop even existed and the price is great tho as said im used to ebays shutl and using ups for over 5 kg items this is definately the cheapest way for 2-5 parcels ie royal mail are a joke at anything over 2kg jumps to about £12-13.

Just a warning - the website quoted £32 for Global Priority as cheapest service for sending a parcel to Far East (collect or Post office drop off). The rate for the exact same Parcel Force service at the Post Office (instore) was cheaper but the Royal Mail option was even better - £17!

Trying to chase up a problem with Parcelforce at the moment - they really are useless (like everything connected to the Royal Mail). They make Yodel look good.

Wongy110

They use bits of polystyrene these days been doing this for four years only ever been asked to post things before or after 'last collection' and as the post box here is 9am weekdays and 7am Saturday mostly ignore that Same with posting at a post office post box over a mile away they can stuff that You don't get cube the first couple of months then one or two a week just do it when I am going past mostly and at a sub post office not the main one to avoid waiting You can also book 'holidays' so make sure you do that in the second half of your six month even if you are not going away

lljwagg

2nd year for me. Got loads of stamps I end up giving away. Lots of vouchers. You just need to be organised, keeping a diary helps. Inputting information is simple. I will continue as long as they allow me to

mutley1

I have been doing this for a while and they dont ask you to post at specific time, except before end of posting day for me. Mainly letters or DVD boxes that go into letter boxes so i just chuck them in to the post box as i walk past, which i do several times a day any way. on the rare occasion, i have to post a cube at the post office, but again just be the end of the day. Sometimes it says before mid day but if you dont do so, it doesnt really matter. i would encourage people to do this if they walk past a post box any way or go near a post office so it doesnt take too much effort. It is a survey to help royal mail work efficiently and we all have a vested interest in this as we all want our letters and parcels delivered on time, and by doing these sort of surveys, you will help royal mail identify where the problem routes are and make the delivery service more efficient for us all. i am pleased that royal mail even care about making their delivery more efficient, so as customers who will be the actual party that will benefit, we should make an effort to help improve delievery. It is not about the stamps, so dont let this distract you from the true purpose (y)
