This seems excessive (eBay)

When eBay's 80% off fees promo deal came up I figured it was best time to sell my old laptop.

Laptop sold, but now I feel betrayed by eBay because they didn't make it crystal clear... or am I not understanding something?

First I see this and I think 'Thank you, eBay'... and then I see this too.

It's a lot.

What can I do?

UPDATE: You guys are stars. It's all sorted. Thank you so much! And lesson learnt. Beware of promoting your listing!

So the initial fees invoice is perfect using their listing fee promotion.
But whilst you have listed you've decided to promote your listing on a 11% fee, and been charged that.

Personally I would select the item and click CANCEL - > Reason, Item is not available or damaged.

Then just relist it again without the promotion, and send the previous buyer the item number to buy again.

Send them a message saying you've been hit with a £100+ fee as you listed it incorrectly, so you are going to cancel and relist the identical item for the same price.

I would also knock a couple of quid off off for the buyer, so they'd be a lot happier also

It looks like you paid to promote your listing as an ad. That's what the extra fees were for, and they won't be discounted as this is an advertising fee rather than a selling fee.

Damn.. I'm so unlucky. I had no idea it would be that much. They never mentioned how much it will cost. (edited)
