About this voucher

It's worth checking your Shell rewards app as there was a £2 off towards my fuel today, and this wasn't there at the start of the month for me. (This could be for selected members)

It is eligible to use on all fuel range at the pump, and there was no minimum spend stated, but who goes to the station and doesn't fill at least £10 worth of fuel.

These are random rewards you will get and can be for different amounts. I regularly get up to £10 ones on top of the reward ones but I spend thousands a month at them. (edited)

I guess the higher the rewards you'll receive depends how much you spend with them. I also got £3 off twice before and free snacks. Thanks for letting me know difference in rewards we can receive.

Is it worth downloading this? Usually fill up diesel at Sainsbury’s (this shows as cheapest) but thinking to give Shell a go for the quality/efficiency…

No, better off getting your Nectar points at Sainsburys.

If you want proper discount on diesel check "eachperson" website .You pay 20 gbp per annum subscribtion and you have diesel prices cheaper on selected garages. Thay show price per litre each monday on their website. Mostly MFG (Shell incl.) and Morrisons garages. (edited)

I got £1.40... but to be fair I've not used them half as much since Shell Energy was sold to Octopus and I lost the 3% off fuel perk.

It feels wrong to celebrate any of the big fuel companies including Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s as they all make as much profit as they can and don’t really care how some people can afford it. Sure the global situation has increased the oil price but I feel that many companies could do more to ease the pain. For me this is plain and simple cooperation greed and any reward system is appreciated but not enough by a long shot…. (edited)

They are shareholder owned companies which will judge the balance between volume and profit, not a branch of the DHSS. I agree the sentiment but really that is naive.

Wouldn’t say this is worth it when their fuel is more than the saving compared to other garages anyway
