sorted byPop into Poundland and buy £15 pounds worth of tools and a neat box to keep them in. Report back if you can match this deal.
Realistically no one with a brain cell would expect to remove a car engine using these tools, but then, if you have that expertise you wouldn't buy them in the first place.
I can see a family without the build up of tools that comes with age having excellent use from this set. Putting a garden swing together, domestic appliance repairs, garden machinery maintenance, flat-pack furniture, bunk beds etc etc. Pay for itself in no time and will always be there.
Off to replace 3 sockets now, 13mm, 15mm and 17mm. Cost? Well over £15.

Bought it last time it was on offer in argos.

have one of these
good bit of kit
Because I suspect some of them aren't fit for purpose. What's the point of a 10p ratchet spanner that breaks the first time you use it?

Whilst I agree, the first image in the link does indicate the spanners do seem to be sized 10/11/12/14/15 mm

In the second image they appear to be 8/10/12/14/15mm

Perhaps it's lucky dip what is included?
I agree, I can't see any rubber mallet though.
Save your money and buy something like the Halfords pro range; these will last you a lifetime and do the job properly! The only thing I would use low quality tools like this are for building flat pack furniture etc. ...and yes, I have experienced both types of tools repairing cars, and have the scars to prove it's not worth it!!
Had same problem - its not there in IE, but was with Firefox... try a different browser.
Halfords do a repair kit for their ratchets - about 7 quid 4 years ago when I broke mine. As good as new now...
... however for those of us who don't want to spend £780 on a toolkit to use once or twice a year for light odd-jobs, £15 is just the ticket.
