If they are flat then this is a very good price.
but I have found in the past some of Wickes porcelain tiles are concave where the corners are raised slightly in relation to the centre of the tile, this tends to happen when the tiles are too close to the heat source when they are fired or the kiln is too hot or the tiles are stacked to close together, when I was working in the industry it was my experience that this issue occurred most often with Chinese manufactured porcelain,
This Wickes tile is made in Turkey and in my experience mass produced Turkish made tiles are generally well made, I sold literal tonnes of Canakkale Seramik week after week it was very popular and I never had any returns or complaint related to quality or defects, I did get one large order returned but in that case the client wanted to upgrade to a top end Italian super large format tile that was 4/5 times more expensive so of course that is no problem.

Çanakkale is a great tile company. Many Turks also use them. I knew the owner when I lived in turkey.

Be aware that most of these types of tiles generally have 8 patterns so when you're planning the layout, you'll have to be careful so you don't get too many identical tiles in one area.

That was my worry. Would probably be okay in a small bathroom or shower but for my needs a 3m by 2.2m wall it's going to be noticeable 😞

Finally grey is going out of fashion

Don't say that, I'm just about to buy some grey tiles (tile mountain cliff grey / granite)

Very good price. Matt too so much better for bathroom IMO.

Why are these in the "Tiles Samples" section of the site?

Porcelain tiles are a nightmare to drill through. You have to use cooled diamond drill bits, never again for me!
