    Not really. Around £50 is becoming the norm for a DRAMless 1TB SSD. The Integral V Series. Kingston A400 and Intenso brand for example. This deal is good and fair, but not ridiculous by a long shot at the moment as the prices are commonly dropping for this type of quality budget SSD.

    Should I just pay 20 more and get the mx500 If it is just going to be used for external storage for steam games?
    Or will this one last just as long and be okay?

    Honestly I wouldn't. I have an mx500 1tb in my system a long with a few other DRAMLESS drives all used for games and they're all the same, can't notice any difference.
