One of the greatest TV shows ever.

I'm a huge fan of physical, and this is a LOT of incredible telly for so little money. But they're all on Disney Plus for anyone looking for a digital alternative.

Might want the disc versions anyway. You have the season prequels as bonuses on the disc version.

Wish I could wipe this from my memory and start again. One of the best TV shows ever.

I was going to say the same thing. Brilliant series! I just wish I could watch it all over again and not know what was going to happen. (edited)

bought it about 5 years ago for a bargain 30 quid or so...suffice to say I havent watched an episode.

If you havent see it - buy it, otherwise there are other things to watch and not.sure.i will ever get back to rematch.

Willittle have dated?...I hope not as I loved it (edited)

Really tempted by this, but how does a DVD look like on a 55" TV? Back in the day, on a 32" CRT, these looked great. But would it spoil it, watching it now on a large modern TV?

At the end of the day especially the early seasons, it would originally have been like 480i resolution at a low bit rate and frames per second. A dvd upscaler/blu ray would be better than say a dvd player and scart but there's only so much they can do.

New machine learning and processors have come on leaps and bounds that should be able to properly upscale and re master these but it's costly, still a few years away and I suspect only select vintage/classics would get this treatment for a re release. (edited)

Rewatched all these last year. Still the best thing to ever appear on TV.
