    Just found a similarly specced HP Intel i5-9500 for £279.99 on eBay with 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Win 11, with a 1 year warranty, from skytech-outlet. (edited)

    I'm on the lookout for a replacement. Run Linux Mint. Skytech-outlet said it wouldn't honour the warranty if I changed the operating system even for a hardware fault.
