    England -
Tesco increased their min from £5 to £5.50 a few months/offers ago (might have been when the new alcohol taxing came in).
NOTE - You need a Tesco Clubcard to get the 25% off deal. Look out for their already reduced wines, say from £7.50 down to £6 then 25% off that, so £4.50
If you get coupons sent to you from Tesco (as I do), then hope they coincide with this offer. I have last of my three coupons to use up, spend £60 get £6 off, so that's a further 10% on top of the 25% off

    Min @ Asda is £4.99

All the times recently been to Sainsburys, min had been £6 (edited)

Hmmm I did wonder why my usual wine at £6 has now gone up to £8.

    Yeah. Funny that :/

Tesco have massively increased their wine prices, then put on ClubCard prices to reduce some of them back to their previous full prices.
I do realise there was a tax rise on 1st August, but that should only be around 45-50p a bottle, not the £1 that they seem to have whacked on most of them.
    Profiteering by stealth!

The similar Sainsburys offer recently was a minimum of £5 a bottle..which meant that the price was about £3.75 after deducting the 25%. This offer not so good as min £5.50... Tesco being crafty, making sure ppl don't get a bargain.

Actually Sainsbury's has been min of £6 a bottle since the last 2 times they have had the deal on.

    Oh no!

Get ready for every bottle sold by Amazon being posted as a deal, when they price match Tesco. (edited)

Excludes Scotland. So, Amazon deals welcome.

Just prepping myself for a trip to Tesco for this deal. Oyster Bay has jumped up to £11. Even with 25% discount still works out more than ASDA and Morrison's. These deals are a real con!
    skiking's avatar
Looked at a few other of my usual tipples and they are considerably more expensive than normal in Tesco. Morrison's is coming out cheaper without an offer. Be selective in what you buy otherwise you will end up paying more rather than saving.
