You are right that chilling them down can actually adversely affect the performance, but you're into condenser or ln2 cooling at that point
But isn't watercooling this a bit overkill?
Slightly worried that it appeals to me, even though my current system doesn't have an M.2 slot but it is water-cooled, so any upgrade would be water-cooled as well.
You can get a PCIE 3.0 riser card like this one amazon.co.uk/gp/…PJS that would let you install the drive, water cool it and increase the e-peen
