Pop off the water block and get a £5 heatsink from Amazon and you're on to a winner.

...or use the heatsink already provided with most motherboards

Wasn't it well know that NVMe drives can't be too cold otherwise you don't get the full speed and performance from them?

If that's still the case then this'll just be a marketing gimmick surely?

Unless you're actively chilling the water it will be room temp or above, water-cooling it (while a little excessive) will just keep the temperature exceedingly steady.

You are right that chilling them down can actually adversely affect the performance, but you're into condenser or ln2 cooling at that point

Pretty decent price for its specs.
But isn't watercooling this a bit overkill?

You aren’t the target market demographic. This is for supervillains cooling data in their volcano bases, watercooling is a must.

    A water cooled NVMe drive?

Add some RGB and it will give you at least 50% more fps in games.

I mean, the e-Peen is strong with this'un.

Slightly worried that it appeals to me, even though my current system doesn't have an M.2 slot but it is water-cooled, so any upgrade would be water-cooled as well.

It wouldn't run it at full speed, but if your system doesn't have an m.2 slot, I'm guessing it's not PCIE Gen 4.0 anyway.

You can get a PCIE 3.0 riser card like this one amazon.co.uk/gp/…PJS that would let you install the drive, water cool it and increase the e-peen

I’m amazed no one has asked if it will fit into a PS5 yet….. will it?

Sure, just don't screw the cover back on

Will this work in my Nintendo switch? And would the water cooling make the handheld graphics 4K?

Looks weird but cool at same time

The water cooler bit is pointless but its a great drive. If its like the Seagate a basic cooler will do a great job.

This heatsink will be awesome for the New OverHot Gen 5 Drives, most are like 10GB/s jet engines atm so worth it for that reason alone.

This is as bad as those claims that downloading more ram makes your PC faster
