    I got one of these before when released, terrible performance. I couldn't even get the advertised speed. Tested it with exFAT format. Might be good to be used as cold backup.

    You should not use SSD for cold backup, data loss or corruption might happen if you forgot to connect it for too long

    DRAM-less QLC NAND, pretty poor performance, but it is cheap'ish.
    I'd have voted cold if you could buy a TLC drive and enclosure for this price or a little more, but you can't.
    Those that do have extra cash would be better off doing that.

    I recently got a 4TB TLC with DRAM SATA drive and enclosure for £180, slower but more reliable option. (edited)
