Wrong. eBay purchases give you a maximum of 300 "base" points (1 point per £) regardless of spend. You'll receive a maximum of 3x your base points with this offer (900 max). £150 purchase will still get you 450 points.

    300 points.
Because it's 1 point per £1 (up to 300 per item) but the offer is 3x points, so 3 per £1 (up to 900 per item).

It will tell you how many points you're going to get at checkout, before you hit "Confirm and pay".

And the points are worth half a penny each - so 500 points is a £2.50 voucher, etc. It's basically 0.5% cashback (or 1.5%.

The base points are the points you would normally get, before the bonus points, so 1 point per £1, with a limit of 300 points per item (so 10 points for a £10 item, 100 points for a £100 item, 300 points for a £300 item, and then still 300 points for a £500 item, or any other price over £300).
