Love that new This streaky bacon it’s the only vegan bacon that’s any good in my opinion

Try La vie. The smell of their bacon is imperceptible from the real thing.

Always find it strange people assume vegetarians want to eat things that can be mistaken for meat. I don’t like eating meat, so reading “just like meat” comments puts me off!

Many vegans and vegetarians like the taste of meat as we used to eat it, but don't like the cruelty, so we stop eating animals and opt for the vegan and vegetarian meat alternatives instead. I'll never understand people thinking like this. (edited)

No meat eaters slagging the food off yet?

Those behind burgers are like witchcraft.
cannot believe they are vegan. you would fool any meat eater in to thinking they aren’t plant based.

Just noticed that the Richmond sausages are part of this deal, they're currently on offer at Sainsbury's for £2 so if you have a Sainsbury's nearby avoid buying them as part of this deal. Hope that helps someone.

I did try some of this fake meat stuff a while ago as i thought it was healthier, it's highly processed food full of who knows what. Sorry not for me.

Processed food is always going to be less healthy than non processed. But generally vegan stuff will be better for you, and nothing have suffered in the process, it's also 70-80% better for the planet

Beyond meat burgers taste better than I remember proper beef tasting

There is a danger I am just deluding myself.

But they are definitely extremely good quality especially in comparison to some other veggie based burger patties that can taste well dodge.

They’re better than mcdonalds and burger kings offerings.

Word of warning- those streaky bacon things have the worst texture of any fake meat I’ve ever had, honestly made me baulk at how bizarre and unpleasant the mouth feel and taste was.

Not had any brand of fake bacon that was actually edible.

So reading the comments, the burgers are actually decent tasting and worth buying?!

And then some. good luck getting them  at this price though.
I cleaned out my local last night from the last 5 packs.

been twice to Morrisons Woodseats Sheffield after being promised a delivery in the morning- still no stock. Poor show.

My closest and quite large Morrisons had absolutely none of this stock when I went. Tiniest veggie section with about five products in their fridge aisles. Sad times.
    sedwards77's avatar
You might find they have a couple of sections in different places for veggie/vegan food. I thought ours had hardly anything then found they'd moved a load of stuff to a different chilled part of the store.

That tofu is the best there is for me. The Vegetarian Butcher it's excellent, especially the chicken burgers (edited)
