    Any low sugars deals?
    barnehurst's avatar
Would be nice. Do they even do Heinz baked beans in low sugar version?

After not buying Heinz Beans for at least a year - since they started ripping people off with their pricing. I decided to try them again - and they're horrible, not even as nice as Tesco's own brand! Either they've changed the recipe for cheaper ingredients, or they were always like this and I never noticed before? They're not like the Heinz Beans I remember - but neither are lots of other foods these days.

I find Asda's own brand beans to be quite nice

They don’t even taste nice anymore.

I've been buying ALDI Bramwells baked beans for the past 5 years which taste great and are easy on the wallet. (edited)

got this deal last time but heinz beans not at all like it used to be. Not sugary enough. I am going to supermarket own brands now.

I used to like Heinz yet not anymore they’ve definitely changed for the worse now

Not sure if the taste is different but these are vegan beans
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
    All Heinz beans are vegsn.
They certainly taste different, very watery and bland.
There are nicer and cheaper alternatives.

It’s not clearly advertised, The 12 pack are the vegan variety but the 6 pack are the original version. Not sure if they’ll be different in taste.
    jgtuk's avatar
Pretty sure they're exactly the same, just labelling differences.

Ordered these previously, all the tins were dented.

Spag bol &6 off voucher too
    c_1st's avatar
Now the spag bol tastes more like tomatoes + less like beef (because there is so little of it), very different/worse compared to how it used to be

Thanks OP, ordered 48 cans of the 6 packs as it works out slightly cheaper. That will keep my local food bank stocked up for a while. Last time I donated there all they had left was jam and pasta, everything else had gone, so sad to see

    Good for you

£1.50 a can and the can size has been reduced from 500g to 415g. No deal and terrible beans 🥶
    CanyoufeeltheHEAT's avatar
    Maths not your strong point?

12x £1.50 per can? It's definitely not that. (edited)

No rapeseed oil in these which is a big positive for me. Keeps appearing in most tins of beans.
