I received an email about TM Lewin's 10% off 4 shirts for £100 "offer". This by itself isn't great (£90) but I played around with the codes and managed to get 3 to work TUESDAY TMTEN and CSALE11

There is a good selection of shirts and not just the usual sale items that no one wants.

There are also some other good sale items including cuff links, ties etc that are worth a look.

Quidco tracks at 10% of the order subtotal BEFORE discount

FREE no quibble 3 month returns service too!

Read post 95 by DJFarmo:

You can stack 5 codes which brings it down to £63 plus Quicdo.

Well if you work as a solicitor or accountant you do need to wear a suit and you need good shirts, your asda or primark ones just don't cut it. £17 a shirt is hardly more money than sense man, get a grip.

IMHO - Anyone who makes comments like these without using the product has less sense than money! And if less than £17 a shirt is steep then that cant be a lot! Scorching Hot!

So many people here obsessed with expensive, fancy shirts when there is poverty all over the world. I don't give a sh1t about clothes as long as they keep me warm and dry.

You shouldn't be commenting then. In fact you shouldn't even be a member of HUKD considering that none of the products featured on these pages will help you on your quest to end poverty.

If you stick to the £20 shirts, you can get five for the same price (£72.90).

Wash up? You mean they do the dishes too?

This is clearly a good price for TM lewin shirts and hence have voted hot.
However, as some people have commented on previously, my personal experience of them (as someone who sadly has to do his own ironing) is they are an absolutely nightmare and always look creased.
Personally, I find the top-of-the-line M&S shirts wear better, look better and are easier to maintain. Sadly, though, they are of course more expensive!

Have just ordered and can confirm that I used the following 5 codes and that each added a further discount:

    • TUESDAY
    • TMTEN
    • CSALE11
    • DELIVERY1
    • SORRY

    + Quidco.

I did a similar 4 code stack on a TM Lewin order before Christmas and received it no problem. Also Quidco tracked at 10% of the subtotal before any discount codes were added and has since been validated.

If I get the job in my interview tommorrow TM Lewin will be getting a nice big order
  17. aztech's avatar
mmm...I'm tempted, they do look quite nice, would make a change from my Matalan/George/Tesco ones and the creases shouldn't be a problem. I have a washing machine that churns out clean ironed shirts, even manages to know where I have taken off the dirty shirts and hang up the replacements. I'll ask her permission if I can buy some of these tomorrow.

My shirts have arrived and I have to be honest, I'm massively underwhelmed. For shirts which are supposed to retail at around £80, the tailoring is very poor - my "slim fit" shirts are nothing of the sort: I'm fairly tall with a wide chest and neck, but I'm well proportioned, so a good fit shouldn't be difficult to achieve. However, there's simply way too much spare material under the arms and around the chest, and the size of the collar tips on some of the shirts is ridiculous.

It pains me to say it, but the £6 Cedarwood State slim fit shirts that my OH bought for me from Primark are a far better tailored fit than the TM Lewin ones, particularly considering the price I paid.

Quick update to my earlier criticism of the slim fit shirts: went into my local TM Lewin this afternoon and was totally bowled over by the quality of the service. Not only did the guy spend an hour with me making sure that I got the correct fit, but he dragged out a huge number of shirts from the back room which were not on the shelves and even offered to give me three of the more expensive John Francomb fully-fitted shirts (worth £105) instead of five alternatives from the standard slim-fit range (£79 when I ordered). As luck would have it, I managed to find five alternatives from the cheaper shirts he brought out, but I was hugely impressed nevertheless. The shirts are top quality, and to get five of them for £79 (plus £15 Quidco) is brilliant.

hot deal if u need that many shirts,

have cheap M&S shirts, mid range M&S shirts and these shirts.

Great quality shirts! Often split the cost with a friend at work since u can order 4 shirts in different sizes.
Yes quidco tracks before the discount too

These are great shirts. Just bought 3 in store yesterday with 10% off so paid £22.50 per shirt. That is not expensive! for great quality shirts its pretty cheap. Find them similar in quality to the austin reed shirts I have.

Heard the prices will be going up pretty soon, due to them not raising the prices due to vat and the price of cotton soaring.
  31. Jimmyboy's avatar
I agree with the above comments on the quality plus rather than just ordering a collar size you give them other measurements such as across the back, length and arms length.
My only criticism of a few I have is they are a pain to iron and hold creases forever!
  32. okram's avatar
true they are hard to iron and not as crisp as my van Heusen but it would almost rude to turn down this deal, got 4 shirts for £60 after quidco

No, I am afraid that I am not trolling. I would never spend £17 on an article of clothing that I would never wear.
Anyway, buying these four shirts would blow my annual clothes budget in one go! (Now I am trolling.)

Ive never bought from this store before and only noticed the comments about them being hard to iron just after I placed an order for 4 shirts.

Are all types really bad to iron then? If so ill probably send them back as I travel a lot with work and dont wanna be turning up to meetings etc in a shirt covered in bad ceases. My current Debenhams and M&S dont do too badly for ease of ironing and staying smart.

Charles Tyrwhitt and TM Lewin are pretty "creasy", they are nice but as soon as you lean over something the shirts line quickly. M&S seem to suffer less from this. Trouble with M&S though, is that any shirt you wear is worn by at least 10 other guys in the office
