About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
3D expansion to break through limits
Unlike planar NAND memory, 3D NAND flash features memory cells stacked vertically in multiple layers. 3D NAND overcomes density limitations of 2D planar NAND, and delivers a higher level of performance and endurance.
Performance boost for everyday computing
Taking full advantage of the SATA III 6Gb/s interface and built-in SLC caching technology, Transcend's SSD230S achieves exceptional transfer speeds of up to 560MB/s read and 520MB/s write.
Guaranteed endurance and reliability
Transcend's SSD230S offers great Terabytes Written (TBW) values (up to 2240TB) indicating the total amount of data you can write into the drive over its lifetime. It also features RAID engine and LDPC coding, Garbage Collection, Wear-leveling, and DevSleep.
A better choice than HDD
Solid-state drives dominate the market for PC upgrades because they are faster and lighter than hard disk drives. SSDs also feature less power, create less noise when in operation, and are more shock-resistant than traditional hard drives.
SSD Scope software
Transcend SSD Scope is advanced, user-friendly software that makes it easy to ensure your Transcend SSD remains healthy, and continues to run fast and error-free by determining the condition and optimizing the performance of your drive.
Guaranteed quality
Transcend’s solid state drives are built to the highest standards and rigorously tested, and offer outstanding quality, performance, and reliability.

sorted byIt's basically a re-branded 4TB MX400.
Same controller, DRAM and NAND. Even the silver outer casing is identical.
Not sure why the rated TBW is so high compared to Crucial, but then brands are allowed to put whatever they like on there as it's theoretical.
It doesn't surprise me as my 1TB MX500 lasted well past its TBW, these drives last a LONG time.
What it does mean is that you can thrash this to within an inch of its like and as long as it hasn't past that rather high TBW they will honour the warranty.
At this price it's a great deal. No, not as cheap as the Samsung cashback deal from a few weeks back (I got one of those too), but that doesn't take away from how well priced this is. (edited)
If you mean the same model but in 1TB then yes by maybe 20 grammes or so.
just remember, some people buy apple
Random r/w speeds aren't massively different from NVMe drives, obviously sequential speeds aren't even close so not the best if you're going to be moving large files around frequently. (edited)
