Stop negative thoughts, Get out of bed, and Find your life's purpose.
C.M. Fraser left no stone unturned in the quest for a straightforward depression cure. 50 Ways to Leave Depression presents a magic blend of the Latest Science, Ancient Wisdom & Inspiring Art to rewire your brain for true happiness.

In this book you’ll discover how small incremental changes to your way of thinking, your body, your environment, and your actions can completely transform your life. By the end you’ll know the answers to the following odd questions, and many more:

Where is your second brain and why does it matter?

Which of 19 thought distortions are fooling you daily?

How can you buy happiness?

What is social jetlag and how can it completely disrupt your life?

What is special about the color green?

Why are the large muscles of your legs so important?

What advice do all religions share on happiness?

Why should you replace expectations with hope?

What do we have totally wrong about stress relief?

How can gatekeeping stop you from overthinking?

Why are mornings so crucially important?

What brain secrets were discovered in our poop?

How can decluttering make you happy?

What is rocking meditation?

What is Lagom and Ikigai and how can they transform your life?

The author suffered from depression, anxiety, and panic attacks firsthand. As a result, the book’s tone strikes a delicate balance between deep compassion and brutal honesty. 50 Ways to Leave Depression skips the psychobabble and presents an easy-to-read workbook with bite-sized chapters. It is a surprisingly ‘non-depressing’ read, and packed full of calming illustrations.

If you can practice even a handful of the tips in this book you’ll be well on your way to leaving depression behind, and on to helping others in need!

Not one mention of drugs, find they are the key factor in altering your brain chemistry.

I thought that you were talking about recreational drugs and depression.

I think my recreational ones contributed mine.
    Prescription ones seem to help.

depression is an incredibly complex issue - no one really understands it - but medication is almost certainly the most effective course to battle it.

it takes a little while to tailor what works for you, but the science behind altering the chemicals in our brains that affect our moods is way more promising than anything published.

if you can implement both, then maybe - but medication has basically saved my life many times over

In a positive or negative way?

Depends on the drug, person and symptoms, problem with generic antidepressants is that each person will have different levels of efficacy and the side affects are pretty bad. Speaking from experience

You are right helps many but not all. I find my mild one is associated with weather. Grey sky's weeks on end brings it on but a ray of sunlight literally forces me up and chirping.

Depression is an incredibly complex issue and this sort of "Cheer up!" attitude some people and authors have does not help me and many others in the slightest, so cold from me. Also...

The only restriction I could think of was country. There should be no reason if you have a UK account why you're being restricted by Amazon provided you either have a Kindle device or have the app install on another compatible device. Customer services will definitely be able to get this sorted for you as it clearly needs technical support. Hope it gets sorted for you soon.
