In the UK, by Law, your Steam purchase is NOT a service, so you own everything in your copy, including licensed music. The publisher may lose music rights for future sales, but your copy remains LEGAL. However, now Steam allows the publisher to retro-actively remove content you have purchased in a compulsory game update that Steam users and reviews CANNOT now warn you about.
